The singer-songwriter took the stage with the Foo Fighters on Saturday night at the London Stadium…about 25 miles from Wembley Stadium, where Taylor performed all three of her shows this weekend.
Check out the clip… DG first mentioned the pop star’s “Eras” tour, which was met with massive boos from the audience. Dave joked that FF should rename their set of shows the “Errors” tour because he said they’ve screwed up their fair share since hitting the road.
Dave then grabbed T-Swift by the throat… saying mistakes are bound to happen when you actually perform live – implying Taylor wouldn’t, and received applause from fans.
It’s unclear why exactly Dave is taking aim at Taylor here…especially since he’s praised Swift in the past, saying he was completely obsessed with her back in 2015, even dedicating a song to her at their festival that year Played a song.
It sounds like Dave’s feeling pretty different these days…and, you wonder if he’s just trying to make the audience laugh, or if there’s animosity at play here.
